Pasikudah or Pasikuda (Green-Algae-Bay) is a coastal resort town located about 35 kilometers northwest of Batticaloa. It is a beautiful exotic beach, where you can walk 50 to 60 yards into the sea. Waves are almost non-existent, making the sea look more like a still lagoon. Pasikudah is known to have one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world.
